The first or lower terrace is best suited for breakfast or dinners "al fresco". It is just outside the kitchen and the dining room, so setting and clearing the table is easy. Needless to say old Rome's domes and roofs will accompany in your meals. They are also reflected in teh windows of the bedrooms (photo above). You find an iron-wrought table (covered with glass) complete with four chairs, and a bench. Two small lemon trees and flower plants add a Mediterranean touch.

What can be more blissful than a breakfast "al fresco" with view of old Rome's domes and roofs? The lemon trees and the flowers add a Mediterranean touch.

Notice the services (cups, jugs, sugar bowl etc.), marked with the coat of arms of the patrician family owning the palace since many centuries).
