This fine one bedroom apartment is appr. 35 sq. meters large (350 square feet). It is thus rather spacious. It is also very elegant, very quiet (also with high quality double glazing in the windows), and very central. It is in fact located in Via dei Cappellari, a very artsy and cozy little street leading from Piazza Campo de' Fiori to Chiesa Nuova, near Piazza Navona.

In the street you find labs and shops of many artisans and craftsmen. At times you have the impression that all the craftsmen of Rome can be found here.

The apartment is also very near to Piazza Campo de' Fiori, with its famous morning market and its trendy atmosphere, making it the liveliest corner of Rome. The palazzo is original of the 16th century, and there are rumours that Lucrezia Borgia's brother lived and was poisoned here.

Very few discrete families live in this palazzo. It is hence very quiet.

The apartment is situated at the second floor off the street level (it would be at the third floor in the USA, in Europe it is considered second floor).

The palace is endowed with an elevator, although you need to climb a few steps because it stops halfway between the landings where the apartments are situated. So to get to the apartment from the front door you need to climb first a few steps to take the elevator, then go two floors up, then walk half floor down to the apartment door.

The living room is very cozy and elegant. What strikes immediately is also the very high wooden beam ceiling. You find the same ceilings in all the apartment (please look carefully all the photos). Although renovated, they are original of the 15th century. The bedroom is bright and quiet (the window faces a quiet internal court, and the windows have high quality double glazing).

The room includes a double sofa bed, a designer table with 4 chairs, a large wooden wardrobe, a Sony colour TV and its decoder to receive international channels, built-in shelves, and designer lamps.

In this opposite view you can understand better the layout of the apartment: on one side of the living room you have the bedroom, on the other side you find the small corridor leading to the bathroom and to the storage room.

All the furnitures and elements of this room are work of artisan carpenters, and they are made to measure. The furniture includes many wardrobes and drawers.

The kitchen area is very cozy, clean and efficient. Like the rest of the apartment, it is meticulously prepared with taste and with an eye on functionality.

There are plentiful drawers, shelves, and boards. The fires are both electric and gas-run. You find a complete cutlery, dishes, pans, cooking pots, Italian coffee pots. A functional dish-washer, refrigerator with small freezer, an oven complete the equipment.

The apartment has independent heating, quality air conditioning (with "split" external engine and silent internal blower), colour TV with satellite dish to watch the major international programs (including English-speaking channels), telephone, free 24/7 internet WI-FI fast connection, washing machine, dish washer, iron, iron board.
