As mentioned, the apartment is approximately 80 sq. Mts. (app. 820 sq. Ft.), and it is
at the ground floor, immediately facing Bramante's cloister.
Since the apartment was achieved from a church by means of the ingenious work of architects, the floor plan (left pitcure) is useful to understand its layout.
From the foyer one enters: the master bedroom, the kitchen), the bathroom, and finally the large sitting / dining room at its end.
The master bedroom has a double bed. It was achieved from the high ceilings of the chapel, and it can be reached through a spiral staircase (it can be seen in the photo showing the foyer). The room has two round windows, and also another internal round window towards the sitting room. A perfectly working air conditioner is placed in summer. |
|
|
The room is endowed with the a double bed, two bedside tables, an area to hang clothes, a shelf, two armchairs, a fine lamp, and a carpet. The colour TV is portable, and it can be moved to the sitting room.
|
|
The large sitting room (presented in this page) is divided in two sectors by a large, high, and long
wooden antique bookcase (please look the sitting room photos and the floor plan).
The bookcase thus creates two sections: the above mentioned sitting / dining room, and a very charming
study bedroom (right photo).
This study is endowed with a bed, a desk with its chair, two little tables with two fine lamps,
fine paintings. It is thus a full-fledged sleeping area.

The fourth bed of the apartment is placed in a second loft (gallery room). It can be reached still through
a spiral staircase from the study (see the relevant photo above). The loft includes a single
bed, a bedside table, a desk with lamp. The floors have moquette (wall-to-wall carpeting).

The kitchen is accessed through the foyer. It is small, yet very efficient. It
includes fires, oven, sink, a trolley, and also a cupboard (to the right, only its back can
be seen), and a fridge/freezer (not shown in the photo, it is in the left side of the room).
The kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots, cutlery, Italian coffee pot (Italian) etc. |
|
The bathroom is very efficient. It includes a sink with large marble base, a wide
mirror, a second mirror, a cupboard, toilet and bidet, a bathtub with hand-held shower of
normal size (it is to the right, not shown in the photo). It includes also the gas-run
boiler and a washing machine. |
**This property is unique in its own right, as it is an architecturel jewel. However, please consider that because of its intrinsic nature (i.e. because it was the chapel of the noble family owning the palace), and although it has 10 windows, it does not receive if not scarcely direct sun light, it is not bright. With special lights prepared by electricians under the guidance of architects, the property is made normally bright. **
EQUIPMENT
The apartment has central heating, with radiators in every room or space. In summer there is air conditioning, moreover in general the flat in its own right doesn't really get cold in winter or hot in summer because of its very thick ancient
walls. Additional fans are supplied if requested.
The equipment also includes: normal landline telephone (outgoing local calls are free!), colour
TV with satellite dish to watch international channels, including English speaking), washing machine, iron, iron board, Hi-FI
stereo set (CD player, tuner and tape deck). The kitchen is fully equipped.
All inclusive weekly price from 1,400 Euro (depending on the season, no. of persons etc.).
